Bangalore is referred to as India's Silicon Valley. An Indian private university called IIIT-B was established in 1999. Engineering college New Horizon

The New Horizon College of Engineering opened its doors in 2001. This college offers BE, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc., and Ph.D. programmes. For engineering courses, admissions are based on the KCET test results. Most significantly, engineering courses at New Horizon College are taught by one of the greatest faculties in the country.
